That's where I come in. I'm Moira and I'm your Wellington based wedding celebrant, here to help you tie the knot.

Your wedding day is all about you and it's my role as your marriage celebrant to make your day just as you imagine it. What's important to the two of you about your ceremony is what's important to me, and I can't wait to work with you to craft your perfect day, exactly the way you want it. 

Whether you’d like a traditional ceremony or a quick and simple occasion, we can work together to create a ceremony that suits your individual needs and personalities. Big or small, public or intimate, indoors or out, I can offer ideas to help you plan your big day, we'll work together to give the ceremony your style. 

I'm adaptable and creative and listen carefully to what you want to make your wedding day memorable.

I simply love weddings. There's no two ways about it. They're fun, happy, exciting and extremely special days that will be etched in your memory for years to come. I feel honoured that I get to enjoy such life changing days with a whole range of couples, ensuring that their wedding day is everything they've always wanted.

My background as a counsellor and accredited mediator has given me a great sense for people and I’m passionate about healthy relationships and open communication. I also pride myself on being able to spot and diffuse stressful or tense situations which is a great help in the busy wedding planning stage and on the day. Combine this with humour, innovation and good organisation and that’s what I bring to your ceremony.

As your wedding celebrant it's my role to ensure that all of the legal requirements for your marriage are met and your ceremony is planned just how you want it, so you get to relax and enjoy the day with family and friends.

I'm here to take your ideas, add a sprinkle of experience, and craft them into a marriage ceremony that both you and your guests will remember for ever.

Once I've drafted a plan for the ceremony, we'll work together to get it just the way you want.

Celebrant services

My wedding celebrant services include:

  • Face to face meetings to find out more about you and your ideas
  • Planning and writing of a personalised ceremony
  • Organisation of your wedding rehearsal
  • Early arrival to the venue on the big day to make sure everything we need for the ceremony is in order
  • Use of my own sound equipment
  • Conducting the ceremony
  • Hand delivery of your marriage papers to the Registrar.
